Africa’s largest eagle is slowly enjoying its meal. It attracts a great deal of tourists.

A traffic junction in Kruger National Park, South Africa was blocked for a long time when tourists stopped to watch a member of Africa’s largest bird of prey hunt. In this case, the victim of Martial’s eagle was an equally large stone lizard.

The cameraman said: “Typically, most of the visitors are curious about big cats such as lions, leopards or other carnivores.”

“However, this time, even though there was no ‘big cat’ to play the ‘main character’, there were still a lot of people lingering and trying to capture the very wild moment when the eagle took the prey’s life. Martial eagles are huge birds, can weigh more than 6 kg and have a wingspan of nearly two meters.

But its prey this time is also not medium because the rock lizard is Africa’s second largest reptile. The size can reach 1.5 meters. But if the predator is an eagle, then just being big isn’t enough.
