In 2017, Cummings entered a guilty plea to unlawful sexual behavior with a minor, which resulted in his registration as a sex offender, per a criminal complaint. In 2021, Cummings also changed his address without telling the police, which led to another felony conviction. Additionally, Cummings entered a guilty plea to a single narcotics trafficking offense in April 2023.
According to court documents, Nationwide Children’s Hospital notified the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force on July 11, 2024, that a 16-year-old girl “was being trafficked by Cummings.” According to the complaint, the teenager told investigators that she had sex with Cummings in exchange for presents and narcotics when she was 14 years old.
Court documents reveal that she informed investigators that she knew four other kids who had similar encounters with Cummings and that “she was drugged multiple times by Cummings” prior to him performing sex acts on her. Fentanyl, marijuana, Xanax, cocaine, acid, and ecstasy were among the specific narcotics that Cummings sold or traded, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

According to the criminal complaint, investigators spoke with a number of victims, aged 15 to 17, who described how Cummings drugged them, threatened to use physical force against them, and gave them “money, gifts, and drugs” in exchange for sex or sexually explicit material.
According to investigators, two iPhones that Cummings “attempted to destroy” were discovered submerged in a toilet tank by FBI agents carrying out a search order at his residence in August. According to investigators, Cummings’ accounts and devices “contained more than 18,000 sexual images and videos, including child pornography.”
According to court documents, Cummings called one of the adolescent victims while he was incarcerated and requested that she remove his social media accounts, Dropbox data, and OneDrive files. Anyone with information on Cummings is asked to text 740-428-0739, according to the FBI.
