Jonathan Majors recently shared that his wife, Meagan Good, made significant sacrifices by supporting him through his legal troubles. During an interview on The Breakfast Club on March 21, 2025, Majors opened up about the impact their relationship had on Good, just days after revealing they had secretly married.
“I told her from the jump, this ‘gon be crazy. This ‘gon be wild,” Majors said, referring to the fallout from his conviction in December 2023 on two counts of misdemeanor assault and harassment against a former girlfriend.
He explained that their relationship faced public scrutiny, with many questioning why Good, a respected actress, would choose to stand by him. Majors admitted, “Yeah, I had a lot of that.”
Despite the challenges, Majors emphasized their commitment to each other. “We’re in a relationship, now we’re in a marriage,” he said, acknowledging the tough moments. He likened their situation to the famous Titanic scene, saying, “I’m Jack. You let go of me and you go get it.”
Majors revealed that Good faced professional repercussions because of their relationship, stating, “She lost endorsements, we got uninvited to stuff. She got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was.” He acknowledged the toll it took on her, saying, “She took an incredible hit.”
The couple’s social life also suffered, as Majors explained that their work often involves socializing, but their situation made that difficult.
On March 18, a source confirmed the couple’s marriage, and Majors later shared the news during a Sherri appearance on March 19. He tearfully expressed how happy he was to marry Good, saying, “Today might be the happiest day of my life.”
Majors revealed that he followed tradition by asking Good’s father for permission before proposing. He also shared that his mother, a pastor, officiated the ceremony. The couple had their ceremony in a private moment, with both of their mothers present.
Good was previously married to pastor DeVon Franklin, finalizing their divorce in June 2022.
