Kevin Durant: ‘I Didn’t Intend to Flagrant Foul Justin Anderson; No One Wants to Injure Anyone.Linh

The game was essentially over. The last 90 seconds were just a formality.

 

But as Justin Anderson grabbed a rebound and went up for a put-back, Kevin Durant fouled him. Hard. So hard that it warranted a review by the officials, who deemed it worthy of a flagrant 2.

Here are the NBA guidelines that define flagrant fouls.

If the NBA league office determines Durant’s foul was excessive, or if he was not making a legitimate basketball play, there is a chance he could be suspended for Game 5 on Monday.

Dallas trails the series 3-1 and would be eliminated with another loss.
