Samantha Hanratty is officially a mom!
The Yellowjackets actress, 29, welcomed her first child with husband Christian DeAnda on Dec. 31, 2024. On Friday, March 7, she introduced her baby boy’s name to the world, sharing a heartfelt Instagram post of her cradling him in her arms.

Before giving birth, Hanratty shared in a fall TikTok video that her son would be born with a cleft lip.
“I thought I would share our latest update that our baby is going to have a cleft lip and a possible cleft palate,” she said at the time. “The biggest thing that we all want is for our kids to be happy and healthy.”
In early February, little Levi underwent surgery, and Hanratty praised his resilience.
“The surgeon did such an amazing job! It was a three-hour surgery and absolutely terrifying, but our little one is so strong!” she wrote on Instagram.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Yellowjackets Season 3 premiere on Feb. 13, Hanratty gushed about becoming a mom.
“Being a mom is amazing, but being his mom is what I’m meant to be,” she said.
“Honestly, he is literally the embodiment of prayers and dreams in a person,” she added. “I am so obsessively in love with him. It is the best.”
Filming Yellowjackets While Pregnant
Hanratty also opened up about the challenges of filming Yellowjackets Season 3 while pregnant, calling it “very difficult.”
“In those moments, being able to overcome it and say, ‘Damn, I just had an extremely difficult pregnancy and still did the show’—I feel very proud and accomplished,” she shared.
To conceal her pregnancy on set, she got creative with wardrobe choices. “I tried to cover it with my posture, wearing bigger clothes and pants,” she explained. “It was very interesting.”
